Haunted houses in the UK?

Does anyone know of any haunted houses in the UK that you can stay at?? A few friends and I want to arrange a scary night away!!
Areas which are best for us are West and East Sussex, Hertfordshire, London or if any really good ones we may be tempted to travel to Devon/Cornwall – somewhere like that!!
Any ideas? Would love to know if anyone has been and how it went!!!

Go to Yahoo Search and put in “Haunted Hotels in England”. There are SO MANY I couldn’t list them all for you. I see things on cable TV all the time about haunted hotels in England, Scotland and Ireland. How exciting! I wish I could go too!

The black Swan in Devizes and The Red Lion in Avebury. two ‘haunted’ pubs in Wiltshire that have accomodation.
I worked in the Black Swan but never experienced anything although a bartender who claims to be a witch says she sees spirits all the time!!
