A question for roofers or insurance people?

I called a insurance person out to my home to look at my shingles because of hail damage. When I looked I thought the garage was not that bad but the house was really bad. The guy looked at them both and said he will cover the garage and not the house. The house has little spots all over the shingles that the rock is missing off them and there is also dents in all the metal vents. I don’t understand, I can see it, the garage is only 10 feet from the home, why would he do this, what should I do now.

take pictures,try to get a signed statement from a reputable roofer saying the house was damaged as well by hail. then ask insurance co to reevaluate.tell them u sent ur lawyer the same information.

I gotta agree with the first guy, and the second. Get a few estimates from reputable roofers, call the insurance co. back and challenge their ruling
