We live in apartment with 8 units. We had a flat roof but It was in bad shape. The landlords decided to put a regular slanted roof up, and began I’d have to say a month ago. There is only him and his hired man doing this project. Since the begining of this project, of course it has rained a lot and there are lots of old wounds that have reopened in the ceiling, causing all of us to scramble for towels and then battle for the washer and dryer available to keep up with this mess. Is there a time limit the landlords should have to carry on such a project. This is just beyond getting old

hertfordshire flat roofing

my ex employer as of last week did several deduction several occasions for repairs and damages to a house. i am a roofer. see what happens is we put a roof on and our boss pays weekly. after a year or so the roof leaks and has damages. well instead of our employer claim it on his insurance he deducts our of our checks. we do confront him but it came to point we were worried about our jobs. but he did it again last week he took out 300$ this time and several of us quit. should i get an attorney or should i call someone. the amounts exceeds over $1000 per person times 3 over a 1 year span. i am not the one who has the license and i am not the one who got the job. i really do not know what to do about it please help me. i am in florida! just to make note there are other things that have happened in the past year that helps me think he is a crook like for example our health insurance has lapsed 3-4 times ot all the employees even though it was being taken out of our check. we didnt find out till we go to the dr. and find out that we had to pay out of pocket and wait for claim which took months. but itsnot easy when your living off paycheck to paycheck. i have proof from the insurance companies about it also. not even 2 months ago i was taking care of my hernia. and i asked him to file a claim with worker s comp and he refused cause he was in denial that i got the hernia from workin for him and i toting shingles all day long some days. he claims that i had since before i started working for him which was 7 years ago or working around the house. well i called workers comp they say i file a claim but i do have a chance of losing my job. so i let be especially when your boss tells you he will fight it. i just understand why am i paying for something and when i need it most i have to go through this i got 4 kids and a wife and we had to suffer because of it. i just htink its right and i want to do somehting about it now. please give me some direction who to call complain to do i need a lawyer or should i just let it go?
