I need an old roof removed, some plywood replaced, a chimney capped off below the new roof and new shingles.
The roof has three areas with multiple leaks
The roof is in the South of England.
It is one storey high, it will hold work men.
The dimensions are 24 foot by 11 foot.
We were advised by the person that we are buying the property from that the roof will be over 15 years this year and may need ‘re-felting’.
There is currently no sign of leaking ie. no water damage is apparent and the roof does not have any visible signs of damage. It is clear and clean and there are no plants, mould.
If the roof does need re-felting, what is involved? and how much roughly will it cost?
I live in a city and a lot of my neighbors have roof decks. How do they fix their roofs when there is a leak, or when the roof just needs to be replaced?
what do u need to replace roof shingles and how would u install them?
